Singapore Stamp Duty Guide 2026
When purchasing property in Singapore, buyers must pay Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) on all residential and commercial property purchases. In addition, Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) applies to certain buyers depending on their residency status and number of properties owned.
Stamp duties are administered by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and must be paid within 14 days of signing the Sale & Purchase Agreement or Option to Purchase.
