LoanCalculatorSingapore.com does not collect, store, or transmit any financial data you enter into our loan calculators. All calculations are performed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. No loan amounts, interest rates, or personal financial information ever leaves your device.
2. Information We May Collect
We may collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics (page views, session duration, device type, browser type, approximate geographic location at city level). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. We do not collect names, email addresses, NRIC numbers, or any personally identifiable information from general site visitors.
3. Cookies
We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. Analytics cookies can be disabled by adjusting your browser settings or using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.
4. Blog Contact & Admin
If you contact us via our contact form, we collect the information you voluntarily provide (name, email, message) solely to respond to your enquiry. Admin panel users' session data is secured using encrypted JWT tokens stored in httpOnly cookies and expires after 8 hours.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website may use Google Analytics (analytics), Google Fonts (typography), and Google AdSense (advertising). These services have their own privacy policies. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Data Security
Our website is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption). We do not store credit card numbers, NRIC/FIN numbers, CPF account numbers, or any sensitive financial credentials. The admin panel is protected by bcrypt password hashing and JWT authentication.
7. Your Rights
As a Singapore resident, you have rights under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012. As we collect minimal personal data, most PDPA rights are not applicable to general site visitors.
